What i have learn from the first shoot

I think i have learn that working with Kids is not easy at all.. even if u have all the pre plan done properly, kids in a huge bunch is hard to get them to do things u wan. You must please them, beg them or even promise them things before they act for you. but 1 good thing about kids is that when they really act it out for u, the feeling of it is really real is really beautiful.

Change of concept

Due to lots of problems we encounter in the Ang.bow Shoot. like not enough shots, hard to control kids. and we cant afford to reshoot as the outcome will still be the same..

so we decided to think of a new morale, a new concept and we consulted our lecturer and we came up with a new story line the hare and the tortoise..

The story is call check me out. about a nerd who is call Mark and a totally snorb guy who is Glenn whom are classmates. Glenn is always the famous one and have everything he wants. Mark is a geek or rather a bookworm that always have a book with him all the time. No matter what they do, Glenn always win Mark over in anything. Glenn who dun really like Mark always bully him and call him names. Finally one day Mark cannot take it anymore and challenge Glenn to a race.
Because of Glenn attitude, he lost the race to Mark.

The Hare and The Tortoise

The Hare was once boasting of his speed before the other animals. "I have never yet been beaten," said he, "when I put forth my full speed. I challenge any one here to race with me."

The Tortoise said quietly, "I accept your challenge."

"That is a good joke," said the Hare; "I could dance round you all the way."

"Keep your boasting till you've beaten," answered the Tortoise. "Shall we race?"

So a course was fixed and a start was made. The Hare darted almost out of sight at once, but soon stopped and, to show his contempt for the Tortoise, lay down to have a nap. The Tortoise plodded on and plodded on, and when the Hare awoke from his nap, he saw the Tortoise just near the winning-post and could not run up in time to save the race. Then said the Tortoise:

"Plodding wins the race."

Ang Pow no more..

We wanted to do a story on Ang Baos and Kids.. showing their honesty. We did the pre production and stuff.. everything seems planned.. but i think the things that mess up will be the casting, shots variation and i pretty hard.. i mean is damn hard to control those wild kids.

We have to please them, entertain them to make them do things we want them to act.
Lucky that shoot is over.. i think i have lots more bruises than before.
